Need someone to advice me

Hello,
I have an Intel 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Controller on my system, that is my video card. I re installed Windows XP and it automatically installed a generic driver for my video card, which worked perfectly. I went to my notebooks website to download drivers and decided to download the Intel drivers for my video card, for no real reason as it was working fine as it was with the windows setup, and I installed it anyway. After it was done, I realized that the drivers took up about 30 MB of ram, and since I only have 512 MB and do a lot of web development (photoshop, frontpage, visual studio) I need every bit of free ram that I can get... and of course, 30 MB is a lot. So I went to hardware manager and disabled the controller , it asked me to reboot and when I was back on I saw that it had freed up 30 MB.
Now I have it disabled but I don't see any real problems, my screen looks and acts exactly the same .

Do you guys see any real reason to enable the controller?

I hope you understand my post, it is 2 AM and I am a bit tired.
