Need T.V Help Please for nephew

    Hello,
    Just bought a Panasonic Viera TC-L39EM60 39". He bought it for gaming and it is real laggy. The cost was around 500 and I'm curious if there is a better one for close to the same price. I/He can barely click on a folder on the desktop because the mouse is so laggy. The TV specs on the site "Best Buy" does not show response time... is it because it is bad?
    Any help would be appreciated.
