need tech sheets/diagrams for compaq system

ok heres the deal I'm trying to put a new MoBo into a Compaq Presario 8000 8lsxe1 case and I need to find a techsheet or diagram for either the case or the MoBo so I can get the front I/O panel ie: power button power light and hdd activity light working. the system comes with those lights all in a single connector but the MoBo I'm putting in the will not power up with that setup. that and I really don't won't to fry my new MoBo. I checked HP's website and even contacted their chatsupport but couldn't find any user manuals or service manuals for this system or the MoBo that came with it the Compaq 07E8h. would be overjoyed if someone coud point me in the right direction with this issue. yes ?I realize that the system is over 5 yrs old ... which is why I'm only trying to salvage the case if possible Thanks
