I uninstalled AOL a few months ago but still have a lot (93) of AOL files on my PC. I understand some pieces remain when you unintall some software but this seems a bit excessive. I think it would be foolish to just delete the files remaining -- may not be safe. Is there something that would help me safely remain what is left of AOL?

    Thanks

I would make a restore point then delete them. Then run the registry cleaner on ccleaner. Thats what I would do though.

plodr, Revo didn't have anything to uninstal exectp the AOL Uninstaller.

mimon, I am sure MR TECH AOL Cleaner is ok, or you wouldn't suggest it, but I don't like software that starts out with giant printing "USE AT YOUR OWN RISK". I am probably just being over cautious but I think I will just delete a few files at a time that I absolutely know are AOL files -- some of the files that turned up when I did a file search using AOL are not AOL files they just have AOL in the name.

    Thanks to both of you.
