I use Revo Uninstaller on my other machine,Do you think Revo would be the way to go on a new machine...loaded with junk?.....Thanks in advance

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

    Greetings, ssulaco.

Never used PC De-Crapifier, so I can't comment on its effectiveness.

I have, however, used Revo since its inception, and I've found it to be a very handy and reliable little program. Coupled with a good general files cleaner (such as CCleaner) and common sense, it can rid your machine of virtually any useless file.

I use Revo on my windows computers. I bought a new desktop and used Revo to remove the gunk and trial software I did not want.
It came with a Norton trial so after running after running Revo, I also used the Norton Removal tool to be sure everything was cleared out.

I have had great luck with the PC-Decrapifier and have used it sucessfully on a couple of machines.

    I give it 2 thumbs up. :)

    All the best,

    Hi

Decrapifier is good but also then go through the add/remove list and remove any applications you know you will not use (can use Revo also) to save HDD space.

Then use CLLeaner and check the startup list fo rany applications still left on your PC that you want but the startup is not needed, items like Adobe Flash Updater, Java Updater, Windows Live Messenger, a [enter brand here] Printers updater etc, if you want using ccleaner follow the below and we can advise on startups needed or not.

Then once you have cleaner up your PC to a good state, run the registry cleaner of CCLeaner until no items list for removal.

Then do a reboot and a defrag of the HDD and see if your PC is working good.
