Need to Delete XP

Help Please!

My son recently installed my copy of XP on his computer and ignored the activation requests. Now activation has expired and we can't log on. I tried calling the activation number but it's a machine and it won't let me activate it. I can't find a number for a real live person.

I would like to delete XP and reinstall 98 but it won't let me. I have tried several times. Also, it won't let me install 98.

I have been on hold with Dell for an eternity.......can't get through and since Microsoft is located on an unlisted planet I am at a loss for a solution.

Any suggestions as to how I can go about getting rid of XP and reinstalling 98?

Boot from your 98 boot floppy, run fdisk, delete the XP partition, recreate it, format as FAT32, and then you can install 98. Here's a handy fdisk guide:
