I'm looking for some type of freeware to "edit" a PDF file. I out quotes around edit because I don't really need to edit it, I just want to remove a phrase or two or six. Censoring this info with a black box over the text would work too. To clarify, I added a screenshot below of something resembling what I'm trying to do..... I really don't want to convert the whole 6 page PDF to individual JPEGs and then use Paint to edit out what needs to be removed.

    Thanks!

(the screenshot below is part of the user guide for an Avira product; it was the first PDF I found on my PC to use as an example - I cut-n-pasted part of it in to Paint just to illustrate what I want to do - I'm trying to 'censor' a name in a PDF document so I can post it publicly and offer the person mentioned in the PDF some anonymity and privacy)

Thanks! I'll give those a go and report back in a day or two....

(BTW - I'm using 64bit Win7 which I probably should have mentioned originally, but I'm thinking it won't matter - 64bit W7 is so commonplace these days that I can't imagine having a problem)
