Need to remove file from Registry

    I downloaded a file into the registry from snipeville, im just wondering how i remove it....ive looked in the reg but cant seem to find it and dont wanna start deleting stuff cos i know the problems it can cause.
    any help would be appreciated.

    You can search the registry by opening regedit (type it in a run dialog), and pressing ctrl+f. If you don't know where the specific key you are looking for, I'm afraid this is your only option short of using a cleaner to automatically scan the registry for you.

    Once you do find what you're looking for, its always good practice to backup before making changes. If you highlight the key, and click File --> Export... you can save a .reg file of that key. This way, if the change you make is unfavourable, you simply have to double-click your .reg file to revery the changes.
