I have used the norton antivirus removal tool off MG and wonder if theres anything about for doing the same to NIS....

    hmmm... is it actualy uninstalled and you just need to get rid of the add/remove programs entry? In that case try something like TuneUp Utilities 2004 (which I think is great and you do get a full trial, and does a hell of a lot more to keep you system in tip top shape.... well I think it does anyway). That will be able to remove the add/remove program.

    Hope thats some help.

    when i go to Add/Remove Programs and click remove i get a box up saying..."The feature that you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" Click ok to try again, or enter an alternative path to the folder containing the installation package 'NIS.MSI' in the box below.

    Did it work?

    I am having the same problem getting Norton off of my system. It is still half there, but not in the task bar, and not visible on Ctr-Alt-Del. It does not seem to want to leave...

    @westwind15

    Go to symantec.com and READ how they suggest that this be manually removed from ME> I had one devil of a time getting it out of my ME box. I will try to find the article when I get home. ME and Norton particularly don't mix IMHO. :)
