need ur help!

i want to watch things like movies etc off my laptop/notebook on my televsion thing is i dnt have a standard S-Video port in my laptop, i have usb port and thats it. i want to watch things off my laptop on my television not things on the televison on my laptop. if anyone could give me ideas of what i can to provide myslef with the software etc to get this facilty would be greatful or what i can buy or download to do this would be greatful. thanks. bec x

 

You not only need some type of software, but you'll also need either a USB device or a PCMCIA card with SVideo out or TV out. I'll do some research and post the links I find.

 

mate what you must know is home TV's have a different resolution to pc monitors/laptop screen so for example a movie would look great on a small pc 15inch screen than a 32inch home TV. So my point is for good resolution you need to have a TV which can be used for Pc so it will have TV/PC inputs. If you don't begin there the whole experience will not be pleasurable.
