Need VBA Script Hmmmmm

I'm trying to find a script that will open a tree kind of like the tree in windows explorer. We want to be able to create a path display.

Any Ideas???

you want to map drives using access? are you sure you're using the correct word here? I've never heard of doing such a thing.

Tell you what. Why don't you give me a scenario of what you want to do and I'll tell you what you need.

 

I think he's trying to create a database of the File System and make a thing like explorer where you click on a directory and it takes you inside, so it's just a thing that allows you talk to browse directories without using explorer...

So he needs to grab every single file and dir on the FS and store it in a DB.

 

but I want a scenario so I can pick the right control.. there's a few out there that do trees but some are simple and some let you manipulate the files in different ways.. an example will help me choose the right one..

 

I'll go check with the person who is actually looking to do this. Its hard to play the mediator when I dont really know what he is looking for. As soon as I find out i'll let you know.
