Alright I have a geforce 3, my graphics were fine.then i tried to put my old hard drive in as a slave, and i couldnt start windows, it said something about media test failure and i couldnt do anything. I took the hard drive out of my computer, and i still get the "media test failure" it says "check cable" ther is no media cable for my videocard, but eventually that goes away and i can get on windows but my graphics arent as good as they used to be.

OK I have it so it does not boot from network, that stops the media failure problem. but i still have bad graphics.. i downloaded the drivers for the video card, but it says mine are already up to date. but how can i refresh them?

you can go into control panel > system > hardware > device manager > click ur video card > properties(right click) > drivers > roll back then just update again
