Hi, I am new here just stumbled on this site looking for help with my problem. I share a wifi connection with my neighbor. That is when I am outside and using comp in garage and it actually connects. There are several routers in my neighborhood that have same name. So the windows connection thing more often than not tries connecting with router I do not have password or permision to use. I had great luck with trial software call cirond winc. It showed all the same names spread out so I could chose correct one. But trial is up and i dont have twenty bucks to spend on full version. Any suggestions of software that will do the same thing. I am running xp with d-link wireless n card. Thanks for any help you can give I am not having any luck finding anything that works as good as the winc program I just need something that shows available routers expanded not as one for each name like windows does. Tried talking my neighbor into changing name from linksys to something distinct but they wont/cant idk. Thanks
