Thanks for taking the time to help me.

    This is the situation.

I have a Linksys Wireless Router, Model WRT54G, set up on a Cable connection. Along with a Linksys Wireless notebook card which work great together.

Now this is where I need help...I just inherited another Linksys Wireless Router of the exact same model. I can hook either one up by themselves and both work. I was wondering if and how I could possibly connect them together to get more range throughout my house. Basically, one router hooked up to the cable modem and to "talk" to the other router at the other end of the house to improve signal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Some standard Linksys routers can be "flashed" with new Linux firmware which intdroduces relay functions. However, this can be a router-killing upgrade if done wrong.

I have set up two wireless connections in one large house with 2 stock WRT54G's before, by disabling DHCP on the second unit, giving it a fixed i.p., and running one ethernet cable to it from the first WRT54G. Each broadcasts on a different channel, with different security codes, to prevent crosstalk.
