Need XP Drivers For Gateway DX4200-09

    Per the forum suggestion, I am starting this new thread.

    I am looking for XP drivers for my new Gateway AMD 64 bit which came with Vista. The model number is DX4200-09 (not sure if the 09 makes a difference). The Gateway site is of no help whatsoever.

    Hi

    To be of greater use do follow the below on Everest logs as the inline log you posted didnt show much info at all as its a limited listing of hardware etc



    But also be prepared for not getting some hardware working ok as newer hardware and that of OEM PCs may not have drivers for lower Windows versions as they may never have been created by the hardware makers.

    The file is 257kb and the forum only allows me 250kb. Gonna make the file smaller so I can attach it. Its amazing how much smaller a text file will get when you get rid of the extra dashes for each heading. Here ya go sir!
