    Hi

After installing the drivers from that thread, did you reboot?
Do you have any other hardware in that PC that was not originally supplied by HP when you bought the PC? if so what?

In Device Manager double click that yellow ! mark you have to open properties then click the Hardware Tab, then in the dropdown choose Hardware Ids and in the value box cut and paste the text into your next post.

The Hardware Ids code may luckily link to a manufacturer, then giving us the driver.

    Hi

Try the slightly newer Chipset drivers for your motherboard HERE than that old threads listed one and reboot once installed.

Then install this Video Driver HERE

and this one could be the missing driver HERE as in the multimedia keyboard options.

But if you have a missing device I did post some steps to gain us some valuable information in the Hardware Ids?

For Vista do you have the original install or restore/recovery disks? adn if you have them or a restore partition then the instructions to get back to Factory Settings are HERE (DO be warned that this will erase any saved files, documents, pictures, video etc that you have on the PC now, so backup any data and important files before doing the steps)

and the Vista drivers for your model are HERE
