Needing server disk partitioning software

And it needs to be free! Free meaning you don't get to the last step and it asks you to buy it.

I have a windows server 2003 that I cannot extend the primary system partition to the unallocated space immediately behind it. I've tried everything including a hotfix from Microsoft that didn't work.

I downloaded AOMEI software, but right when I was ready to commit changes, it wanted cash-o-la.

So, is there any good server disk partitioning software that I can use that is free, and will complete the job without requiring a credit card? I have looked through the downloads section and really haven't found anything.

I don't think a boot or system partition can be extended with this method.

 

Just an update to this. I solved my problem.

There is a utility, that is free of charge, and from all companies, Dell. It's called "ExtPart"

The readme file inside is not entirely accurate though. I just extracted the zip files and then doubleclicked on extpart.exe and then a DOS window asks you to enter the drive and Megabytes to extend. Worked great and didn't have to reboot.

My I suggest added this to the downloads page, as there really isn't a true FREE option for expanding disks on servers that we have?
