needs reboot

    hi i running windows xp. iv been trying to down load service pack2. when its finnished my machines says i must reboot it. iv done it 5 times and still it tells me to do it again..any ideas.

    it says.you cannot do .......... [what ever im trying to do] machine pending re boot..

    Post a screen shot then.

    Exact means word for word. The more precise you can be, the better when dealing with an error or problem that is not commonplace.

    thats whats confusing me. all it says is can not download/play/open/, waiting reboot....
