Nero 6 Crashes...Virus?

Hello All.

If some help could please be provided it would be greatly appreciated or direct me to another forum.

I have Nero6 and like to use Nero Express. I was going to copy some photos to a cd to take to London Drugs to have developed however when I go to use the program it shuts down and restarts my computer.

Here's what I do.

I select my Nero6 express icon at the program starts.
The program then asks, "what would you like to do?" I then select Data then Data Disc. This is the exact point that my computer shuts down then restarts.
It appears all other portions of Nero 6 work with no problems just when I select Data Disc.

Any ideas or suggestions?

If you suspect a virus, it may be worth a visit to the anti-malware thread. There you will find steps for cleaning your system of viruses, spyware and trojans. There's also a thread on preventing malware infestations, which goes a long way towards keeping your system clean.

Then, if your problem reamins, try uninstalling and re-installing your apps.

 

Do you have the latest Nero updates? That is another possibility.

also try uninstalling nero then reinstalling it, sometimes that helps.
