nero question

i'm trying to backup my partitioned drive (compaq restoration stuff) to dvd, and i'm curious what the difference is between "Image Recorder", and the other one under the "Current Recorder" pull down tab? - sos

Imager Recorder copys whatever you are copying to nero disk image format ( similar to ISO images )

Bootable Disk, makes the cd you are copying bootable, similar to the XP cd so you can set your bios 1st boot to CDrom and the bootable cd will load up rather than going directly into the OS ... useful for burning diagnostic apps too.

What is an ISO image file?
An ISO image file is a duplicate copy of a complete CD-ROM disk saved in ISO-9660 format. ISO image files are widely used for storing CD content and quickly transferring it through the Internet. ISO is a common CD image format for DOS, Windows (Joliet ISO extension), Linux (RockRidge ISO extension), and other operating systems.

Cheers Wavetar ....... ISO is also fairly related to how you would zip something up into one single file rather than the multiple ones, if you have an ISO or Nero Image File then you have to uncompact them to use.
