I just built a new machine. I used Nero 7's BackitUp2, to copy some My documents files from the old machine. They were my photos, my recieved files etc. as well as a game map file that was on the desktop. I used nero on the new machine, and restored the files on the new machine. Now when I try to open any of the files, I get an access denied message. I cant delete them either, also access denied. The 2 machines are both on windows XP, but are using different windows serial keys, if that matters. I want to know either how to access the files, or at least delete them. The files are still on the old machine, so I dont care if I lose them on this one. Anyone have a suggestion?

When you are puting the old files on the new computer you have to use nero RECODE to set the files back to their original state.

Backitup recodes all your files using nero recode so Windows wont recognize them. You have to set the files back to their original state using nero recode on the new machine.
