Nero Vision Express v3.0.1.18 ?? or Clone DVD for DL use??

I have been successfully using Movie Factory 3 with my Hauppauge PVR USB 2 to convert VHS tapes from analog to digital and these are 60 minute tapes.
I use a BENQ 162I (16X) burner and the Book Management DVD ROM exe. supplied by BenQ and am very pleased with the results and the fact that the backups play on all 5 family standalone players.
What I want to do now is use Movie Factory 3 which came with my Hauppauge for the conversion and MPEG's on my HD and use with Clone DVD or Nero Vision Express v3.0.1.18 to burn to DL Verbatim Media.
I need to purchase an upgraded Movie Factory 4 Standard to use that proggy and I wondered if any of the 2 I mentioned can burn to DL saving me another purchase.

Nero does have dual layer support, though I'm not aware that NVE3 is available outside the Nero package as a stand-alone application. NeroVision is roughly analogous to Movie Factory and has no burning ability, I'd recommend Nero Burning Rom http://majorgeeks.com/Nero_Burning_Rom_d2228.html as you are looking for dual-layer burning support, but is not free (about $50-60). Clone DVD is intended primarily for backing up DVD movies, and may not be exactly what you are looking for.

 

Thankyou for the reply, yes when I use Movie Factory 3 to convert the VHS tape from analog to digital it also has the capabiltiy to "Create Disc" and does take my MPEG off the HD and I then use my BenQ Burner to create a DVD via this program from the MPEG on the HD.
I do have a Nero Package with Nero Vision Express 3.0.1.18 and so I was wondering if it did have that ability to create a disc on DL media.
I read in another forum that Clone DVD had the same ability, however there were no details on it, so I decided to post here.

Clone is mainly for doing a copy of a disc for backup purposes.

It's not an authoring program, unlike Nero.

NeroVision Express 3 offers advanced video capturing, encoding, slideshows and DVD/MPEG-2 authoring. (inc DL)

Nero also has an excellent help manual, which can be downloaded if you don't have it.

If you have the Nero suite, then you pretty much have all you need.
