NES games

On my bus ride to school this morning there was a guy with his laptop and he was playing games. The cool thing is - he was playing classic Nintendo NES games. Now, I don't know about the rest of you, but I love the old NES games like Super Mario Bros. and the motor bike games. So my question for you guys is: where can I get these games for my computer? Out of all of us geeks here, some of us should know. Thanks guys...

You need to download an emulator. They're free and you can get one for any old gaming systems.

Wow, I'm so good at answering my own questions...

 

Well, if you got a P2P program like E-mule, or Limewire, just type in the search field, NES EMULATOR.. and you`ll get a slew of emulators for download..

And if you type in NES ROMS, you can download full CD's with hundreds of nes roms, I myself prefer Super Nes games on my PC, I use snes9x and have nearly 300 games so far, but I seem to play the Donkey Kong series mostly...

yeah but the emulators themselves are good as long as you have purchased the games. correct me if im wrong but i believe the only illegal thing is the part about downloading the roms because those are actual games.

well I would just go to a pawn shop or something of the like and get all the old nes games I have a console somewhere. . . .and what happened to the sega game gear that was cooler than the gameboy by far(mine got stolen) is the Playstation portable out yet?

 

nah the playstation portable isn't out yet. BTW, i loved the game gear. in fact i still play that thing constantly. i have like all the sonic games made for it i think. there were like 5. and yes it was way better than the game boy and it came out before the game boy color so it was the first color handheld i believe. or maybe the neogeo was the first, im not sure. oh wait, no that came out in '97. oh hell, anyways, yeah it was great. but its a bit of a battery hog. it could only handle like 5 hours lol. so i remember constantly trying to put it in cool places to warm the battery down.

I had stuff before atari that Texas Instriments had, I can't remember the name of it
and a black one that had cards an three different types of pong, I thought those where cool
when the nes came out that was amazing now we have the ps2 and xbox and the game cube
when those get better whatll be next. . . . .
I want a console that will pay ps(psone)PS2,X Box and Gamecube games along with DVD's and CD's Burned even. . . .that would be cool. .

ooo and have online capabilities and voice, webcam with like thirty dif ports for everything from cable to ethernet and all av stuff, and be cordless(optional) cuz thats not always good
