.NET Framework Install Issue

Hello,

I've been unable to install Windows Update .net updates. They will download and try to install but always fail.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this NET Framework Cleanup Tool http://majorgeeks.com/.NET_Framework_Cleanup_Tool_d6179.html This tool was designed to remove corrupted downloads of Net Framework.

.... and reinstall all versions of Net Framework again.

Hello,

I did the download as suggested. It has apparently killed my ability to download updates from the Windows Update site but it will allow installs of of .Net updates that were downloaded via the automatic update feature. So, my updates are happening now, its just that I can't go to the Windows Update site and see what else may be available for my system.

What do you thiink? The computer seems pretty corrupted.

Great that the tool did its job!

Sorry to say that I don't know the reason why you can't do Windows updates. Hopefully, other members will chime in and have suggestions for you.
