    Hi all,
I just downloaded MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 from the M/G front page now when i go to mediaportal configuration it tells me i must have .net framework v2.0.50727 is this safe and right?

In add and remove programs i have:
.net framework 1.1 and 1.1 hot fix

If this is safe to do anyone know where i might get .net framework v2.0.50727

    Thanks in advance,
    Dan

After downloading this i went to install MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 and it gave me the same message must have .net framework v2.0.50727.
So i went back to the download site and found that it seems it is for mobile apps.
Supported Operating Systems: Windows CE .NET; Windows Mobile 2003 SE software for Pocket PC; Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs; Windows Mobile 5.0; Windows Mobile 5.0 software for Pocket PC; Windows Mobile 5.0 software for Smartphone
Supported Device Operating Systems: Windows Mobile Software for Pocket PC 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0 for PocketPC and Smartphone, Windows CE .NET 5.0 and higher.

Then i went to add and remove programs and removed it. On the MS website it said the download was 37.1 megs in add and remove programs it was 91megs

Any other ideas? I just can't seem to find the right version.

    Thanks,
    Dan :confused:confused

No probs Dan, hope that app is worth the trouble, I may and possibly will install it to see what all the fuss wa about.

But at leats you now have .NET 2.0 installed and many other apps use this, so it IMO was worth the hassle.
