Net Objects Fusion v 8

What else can I do when the programmer offers no way to contact them?

I have a DELL Vostro 1500... XP home edition w/sp3... 2 gig ram, plenty of HD, 1.4 ghz... NO viruses present, NO Malware present. Firewall in place, everything up to date.

I have been running V4 of Net Objects fusion for a while to build and maintain my website. I like it and it is a very nice program. but V4 is not support by the maker...they just released V11... the problem comes with I purchase an upgrade to V8. I installed and the system hung...so I rebooted and cleaned all traces from my system. Reinstalled and shut down both Antivirus and Firewall applications...downloaded any updates straight through the program.. rebooted... started program...system hung... uninstalled... yada yada yada... then reinstalled a third time and did the updates manually from downloads... still hung... did a search and found sometime when I just typed in the word crash... it said something about a dll needed in the right place and the latest version... went to MS got the exe that had this dll as I did not have it at all on my system. installed , rebooted and same hang up...

what I get is the program starts...but all I get is a white screen with navigation bar on the top and nothing else... no splash screen, no error messages...nothing... the hour glass just spins its little heart out... there will no other programs running in the background other then the security ones as this system is always online... when I try to x out or do the ctrl/alt/del it has not effect...clicking the mouse and everything is frozen...have to turn off the power to get it to shut down then reboot... any insight woud be a help to me... I would like to use this program but will stick to the V4 if nothing helps... both can be on the computer at the same time, but only one can be opened...that much I did find out from the forum I went into...but these were like 04 posts to a newsgroup... and I searched them on 3 different topics to see if someone had this problem...not a one mentioned it... HELP! thank you for help
