anyone know a good site out there for the basics of SMS/IM/IRC/etc chat?

http://www.noslang.com/top20.php is a great starting point, but it needs to be about 4 times bigger. for starters, it doesn't even have "b4" or "l8r"....

otoh, their "dictionary" has several thousand entries, most of them beyond useless. AKPCEP = "Alexander King Project Cultural Engineering Project"???? are a lot of ppl dropping this into their daily tweets?

this is the problem everywhere i look. list is either too short -- and misses stuff even I kno -- or waaaaaaaaay too long. any good, solid, lists on the order of 50-100 terms?

http://www.all-acronyms.com/popular is more to my liking -- a solid 100 terms. but i'm a little skeptical of their ranking; it doesn't seem to reflect reality. plus still no "b4" and "l8r" -- or anything else involving numbers -- let alone special ¢har$....

in a similar vein, what of "rite", "mebbe", "hudat", "rly", "sumpin", "pron", etc? i realize some of these are nonced (coined/varied on the spot), but there's enuf of them recurring that a list of 100-200 could pretty much cover the most common ones.

[noslang.com makes the ridiculous claim that the utes of today can't tell the diff betw "your" and "you're". of course we can -- they're both spelled "ur"!!]
