netflix problems or isp problem

I joined netflix to watch the instant download of movies. I have bellsouth as my isp.

The message I get from netflix is that my connection is too slow. They say one of the connections along the route through the internet is loosing information causing the connection to slow down. Netflix did a remote control of my computr to examine things.

I contacted Bellsouth and they say it is not a problem on their end and they cannot fix it. They say my connection with their dsl is fine.

Can anyone give me any advice as to how I might get someone to fix this problem for me. I am not savvy or up on technical language.

Just seems to me since I am paying for dsl 6 though I never get 6 but do get 4.5

 

The only real solution would be for Netflix to get themselves at least one more server.
You can ask them.
Unfortunately the stories around their DVD operation do not inspire confidence.

If you have ever downloaded anything from MG here you will note that you can choose your server, some are heavily used at certain times of the day.

Actually netflix dvd is fine. What I have a problem with is their instant download of movies to my computer. No problem with receiving dvds.

Netflix says it is a problem with the server which is ATT and ATT says it is not a problem on their end and they can do nothing.

I have high speed dsl. Netflix says when I download a movie I am getting a very low speed, lost packets.

Maybe it just can't be fixed. Like I have mentioned I don't understand technical information but can usually follow simple directions when these are given
