Our Linksys router has a limitation to the number of mac addresses you can filter. 40. Their tech support says all of their routers have that limitation. A little hard to believe, but ok....

Does anybody know if there is a limitation on Netgear's routers and access points?

    thanks for your help!

This router/AP is for office use. Yes we need to add more than 40 addresses.

Does anybody have any experience with recent Netgear hardware with access control?

    thanks

Why would any guessing be necessary? And why would my network topology be of any concern? My question is only asking if there is a limitation on the number of mac addresses that can be filtered on Netgear routers / access points. It's a very specific question about hardware. If somebody has experience with one, they can answer that question.

Maybe this will be of help to someone
