NETObserver malfunction

I bought a keylogger-monitoring program, NETObserve, to keep track of waht my 11 yr old daughter was doing online. I bought this because it had a nifty feature: you can access a web page and monitor a computer remotely and in real time.

Downloaded the program, set it up, entered a password, then went to the web page to sign in to the on-line monitoring site. I entered the password I'd just created and got this msg:

"Oops, it seems as though the password you typed in does NOT match the password created on the server! Please follow the link below and try logging in again."

I tried the non-javascript sign in. No luck. The techies, from their end, tried to log on, using my password. No luck.

I re-downloaded the program, did it all again, and it still says my password doesn't match the server password.

I'm wondering if this is really specific to the program/vendor or might it be more generic?

They have not yet replied to my question: what "server" are they talking about? I tried inputting my password to my router but that failed.

Why on earth would the password I created during the setup not match the password on "the server?" My passwords everywhere else work properly. I have Win98, Zone Alarm Pro, Spyware Guard, Spyware Blaster, AdAware... but still I can use my passwords on many other servers. SO what could be the problem here?

FYI: This program is advertised here on MajorGeeks as "award winning," but the support is slow, frustrating and so far I would not recommend this product to anyone. I can't get a refund because they offer a fully functional trial version. But the trial version has a delightful nag screen that kind of blows the idea of "stealth." Not what I'd call fully funtional then.

Anyway, if anyone has an idea about this I'd greatly appreciate hearing your idea.
