netscape and earthlink and a folder called aod

i have an earthlink folder and a netscape folder in my program files

the netscape folder was created monday march 22 2004 2:54 pm

and earthlink folder was created the same day but at 1:35 pm

these folders were created months before i bought this computer so i know i didnt install these services and i dont want em on my computer

thier just internet services i think right their not in my add/remove programs thier just in my program files

i need to know if these folders are safe to remove and wont somehow mess up my laptop

i also have a folder called aod in my program files it was installed after i installed aol instant messenger

can i remove this folder safely without messing up my aim

oh i also have a seperate folder called aim i dont need to remove it i just thouht i let you know
