Netscape and IE 6

    I think I know the answer to my question but I just want to make sure. A friend at work wants to get Netscape internet services but does not want to use there browser. We use to do this in the past,can you use Netscapes IP with IE 6 buy just adding a new connection and putting in the proper numbers. I say yes but I just want to be sure.
    I'm on cable and wouldn't go back to dial-up if you paid me.
