Netscape - I Need A Desktop Link To A Site

When I'm using IE to view a page, there's a "CREATE SHORTCUT" option in the Right Click Menu that lets me place a link on my desktop to that page. However, when I'm using Netscape, the only menu option affords me the ability to Bookmark the link, not place it on my desktop. I know there's a way to do it as I have in past versions. Any idea how to do this in Netscape 7.0?

Gotta ask---- why are you using Netscape 7.? I believe that browser production of the software has been halted .In other words out of date.

 

Go into the bookmark list in netscapes root folder and copy the link to the desktop from there......should work but I'm not really to familar with Crapscape. Worth a shot.

 

if none of the above works, try making a shortcut on your desktop that points to http://www.somewhere.com/something.htm, but for that to work, netscape has to be your default browser.
