   I want to use IE is my browser, but prefer NS Messenger for email. When reading
   email in netscape, and clicking a link, netscape browser starts. Is there a way
   to force IE to start instead of netscape browser?

   Set IE as the default browser.
   
   Then go to tool, internet options, programs tab and set messenger as your email app.
