I have downloaded from the "Monitoring Site" NetStat Live and it will not load. Is this a valid program or hoax? The program is supposed to tell you your connection speed.

Nope it is a valid program from a company thats been in the software business for a number of years, just because you cannot get it to load doesnt mean its a hoax!!... I have in the past used this program with no problems.

Will not load... can you give us some clues as to any error message, what OS and service pack version your using etc??

one I use at present that may interest you is this one Down2Home I just wanted to see what my usage is.. this software also gives you as well as live speeds.. daily, weely and monthy totals.

After downloading the program to my computer and start the installation process. It tells me it is installing "c:\program\analogx\NetStat Live\
I then get a window with a blue guestion mark (NetStat Live Installation). In this window I am asked it I want to abort the installation yes/no, where "no"
is not being acccepted. This is the reason for my question.

I using Windows XP Professional as my OS and just want to monitor my cable connection. It must be something that I am doing wrong and would appreciated any help

While I am not sure if its fully comaptible, I've used it off and on since XP was released with no real issues.

Its a pretty basic app to be honest.

It sounds as if you already had it loaded then upgraded to XP. Is there anyone that had XP then applied the program? I just don't see how it will load.

No, as I said, I've used it since XP was released. I installed it right onto XP. I've never upgraded to XP *shivers*

Let me try again. I've not installed it since Sp2.

Note: It wouldn't install ro run at all until I disabled my antivirus when first installing it.

    Have you tried that?

Let me make sure we are doing the same thing. I had already downloaded the program and then I disabled my antivirus (Norton) and got the same results. Did you disable your antivirus and then download/install the program?

I downloaded nsli.exe, and then disabled my AV.

I then installed it. Prior to disabling my AV, it would not run.
