    Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has some good utilities for network monitoring. Ideally we're looking for something that might flag us if the network drops or if we have high latency. It would also be nice to be able to monitor the systems on the network to see if somebody is flooding the network at all.

We are having some network issue at one of our sites and are 99% sure that it's not us be we want to be able to come back and show that it's beyond our router that's the problem.

Try this tool http://www.majorgeeks.com/The_Dude_d5130.html haven't used it myself but seems to be what your looking for and it's a favourite pick, i've always used Wireshark myself, as i only have a small network, and i only watch or the packets coming in and out !

perhaps this one can help 10-Strike Network Monitor http:www.10-strike.com/network-monitor/
This monitors all hosts in the network by polling of devices, and can send emails, sms, execute scripts, etc if smth goes wrong (hight latency or network failures).
