I've done some research and really haven't found anything saying whether this can be done or not. I'm pretty sure that it could but I'm not positive so I've come to some experts.

Here's what i'm looking to do:

Have a computer that currently does not have a HDD, but I want to be able to boot it into windows. It does have a network boot as a boot option. Is there a way for this machine to boot into a working version of windows off the network without having a physical HDD? If so please elaborate i'm really interested in getting this project off the ground.

    Thanks!

you can use a live cd of some distro of linux, like ubuntu or something...i believe that boot option is to get configs from a server, not actually booting from there..you still have to have a hard drive.

you could have a small HDD that only holds Windows, and then set up a domain so that you can boot and keep your files on a server.

Thin clients are awesome. Have used many at different offices through out the years.
