network card necessary?

    ok im thinking about getting a new sound card to upgrade from my onboard one. the problem is, i am out of pci slots, i am thinking about taking my network card out since im using a wireless network adapter on my computer. will it be ok if i replace my network card with the soundcard, since i am using a wireless network adapter on my computer?

    Yes. If you have a separate wifi card, you don't need the wired network card. Besides, you probably have a built-in wired network card anyway. Just about every motherboard manufactured in the past 6 or 7 years has a built in network card.

    Go with Creative.... when in doubt, go Creative ;) I've had nightmares with Diamond product support. It's non-existent. Creative has great support and their web site is full of info and patches and updates and new drivers.... Diamond's web site has very little info or updated software for their products, if you can even find it....
