network connections wizard grrr need help gettin rid of this icon

so through network connection wizard i tried creating my isp connection.
now when im not "connected" ill have a little computer icon with a yellow box and an X inside saying "limited or no connection" near the time, bottom right...how the hell do i get rid of this thing? in the network connections wizard it's listed under the LAN or HIGH-SPEED INTERNET area and when i right click to "delete" "delete" is greyed out

 

In Control Pannel/Network Connections your delete will still be greyed out, but if you Right Click & disable it should disappear from your desktop tray.
Then when you want to use again just enable again.

 

Sounds like you have DSL.

Why not go into the Local Area Connection properties, (in network connections, control panel), and uncheck the option to show limited connectivity?

Being on a Mac, I can't give you the exact wording of it, ibut its obvious.
