    Hi all,
I am looking for a program that watches the users on my network. You know, programs used, web sites visited, ect, ect..... Hopefully it will be freeware, but I will take all suggestions.

    thanks,

    Haha.. free.

Sounds like you need either a Proxy (if you wanted to go the whole way and activly manage what people can and cannot get to.. which you may not) OR you need some sort of a sniffer program. However it would depend upon how your network is set up.

Currently, how do you get internet access into the network? Is it via a router with a modem attached to it (or built into it) or is it through a "server" computer. Do you use a switch or a passive hub on the network? (chances are these days you'll be using a switch.. which requires power in order to operate)

it is for a home and I wanted to have control over my other computers that my kids have access to. I am connected thru a router.
