I have a Gateway computer with Vista (32 bit) that has lost network conectivity. When I go into device manager all the network devices have similar errors. For example:

    6TO4 Adapter
    Initial window shows:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required
    for this device. (Code 31)
    Driver is:
    C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\tunnel.sys
But when I try to update the driver it tells me that the driver is up to date.
When I go to the Gateway site they say there is not a driver available because the standard Vista driver works.
I have tried deleting the device and it immediately reappears.

I tried running sfc. It finds problems but says it cannot fix them. I did not find "cannot repair" in the log. I tried running in safe mode but got the same result.

I ran chkdsk and spybot S&D - they said everything looked ok.

Any ideas on what to try next?
