Network help

    ok i was wondering if i could transfer files from one computer to another w/o using the shared folder because the video drivers got corrupted and i can hook my PC into a moniter so i was wondering if there was anyway i could just turn it on access the files and bring them onto my other one? or what would i do

    Are they networked?

    If not, do they have network cards?

    The short answer is yes but we'll need to qualify some thngs first.

    network cards as i can plug an ethernet coord into them?? yes i have that

    and no they never been networked together

    OK.....you will need a crossover ethernet cable to connect both of the machines together via their ethernet connections. What OS are the machines running?

    there both on xp and i could just use a router right??
