network issue?

So I have a wireless router set up at our house and it seems that my laptop is the only one that has a problem connecting.

It's not as simple as it never connects... it's that I can connect for about 1-2 min, then I just lose connection and it gives me limited or no connectivity.

The only way I can get it back is by opening the Options for the wireless and changing something... when I say OK, it will reload and work. (Doesn't really matter what I change...)

I've tried release/renew stuff, all requests just time out (This happens both when I'm already connected and when I try it from a disconnect). Repair connection does the same thing.

After a disconnect, when I go to view available networks, it says it's connected and still set to Automatic. If I hit the disconnect button and try to connect, it times out.

During a disconnect, if I do an ipconfig /all, I show no IP address at all... not even a 0.0.0.0. In fact, the line for IP address isn't even there.

Also (although it's normal when you're not connected) I just wanted to add that when disconnected, in Network Connections the "Internet" icon doesn't show up at all.

Everything works 100% fine at School. I connect without a hitch and never get disconnected. So I'm thinking it's not my card.

My roommates all use a wireless adapters to connect, so the router works fine.

The only thing that I have been able to find (and I don't ever remember what I was looking at at the time...) was something said that my IP address was the same as our Xbox360. But the Xbox wasn't on... I even reset the router and cleared the Xbox MAC address from it's temp files. Still got the same problem.

There, I think I covered all the bases.

In fact, in the time it took me to type this out... it un-connected me.
