There is a guy I work with who has software to monitor what someone is doing at their workstation. He has used it before and is known to use it. He is not an administrator just a comp guy. I believe he's monitoring my system and causing it to crash constantly and/or work really slow. How can I find this program and disable it?

We do not have an IT dept. For networking issues we contact an outside source to solve any problems we cannot.

Help me. I can't get work done.

Nothing shows up in task manager. Online Virus checkers can't find a problem. Adaware can't find anything (Grasping at straws with this one).

    Hey

You can try and check if there is some thing wired running at start-up on your workstation.
    Click Start, Run, msconfig...
Select the Startup tab and see if there is a wired program that you don't recognize.
In case there is, uncheck the box next to, close the program and restart your
computer and see how it works...

If the computer guy is in charge and he put the program you might end up in bigger trouble than computer’s crash. Might be that you want to talk to the Boss first.

However technically speaking, some of these programs meant to be hidden from the regular system’s tools.

Download and install Microsoft AntiSpy, it might help you to detect and neutralize Spyware.

Checked this and everything is recognized. What was not recognized is a file that popped up in the Run box. "ms-its:c:C:\Program Files\...."

    Checking that now.

Not doing anything illegal or otherwise. Did mention the problem to the boss but without proof there isn't much that can be done.

Downloading Microsoft AntiSpy right now. Thanks
