Hi. When trying to establish a wireless conection between my Windows 7 Pro computer and a Level 1 modem/router model WBR-3601, I am requested to enter a Network Security Key.
Where is this key? Or is it some kind of a password that I have to create? If so- how?.
The computer and router work fine, when connected by the LAN cable.
    Thanks for assistance,
    Joseph.

The Network Security Key is something that was setup by whoever setup the Router. It would be a pass phrase or numeric sequence required to access the wireless connection.

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

Could be printed on the modem itself. Look for a sticker on the underside of the unit - yours is probably the 10-digit number...

    OK. Thanks, All.
I found the security key on the bottom side of the router. The manual says that it should be a hexadecimal number, but I found that anything works.
    So thanks again, Joseph.
