I am trying to set up my home network (again) using the XP Wizard. I have 3 machines that connect to a Netgear WPN824 router that connects to the internet via a Speedstream 4100 DSL modem. I select the second option on the list - "residential gateway."

After I run the wizard, the machines show up in Network Places under Internet, rather than LAN. It did this to me last time too. I am pretty sure it is just a glitch, and everything checks out OK when I run ShieldsUp! at grc.com.

It is a bit disturbing though to think my shared folders are on the "Internet."

I have run the wizard multiple times and get the same reseult each time, except for once when the local system showed up under LAN, but the other PC showed up under Internet.

    Any ideas?

Also, how does one "delete" a network and start over (besides rerunning the wizard)?
