hello guys, Ive been trying to settup a home network but i cant seem to get a network setup disk that I made in my windows XP computer to run in my windows ME computer.( i know, I know...i should upgradfe to XP)

I cant get it to run and i get a message saying that there is a restriction on the file and that I should contact my admin. The proble is that I am the admin. Although im not sure if I am logged in as such (how can you tell?). Well I wanted to ask you guys if you could tell me how to undo this restriction so i can run this network setup disk.

    any help is welcomed. :)

In Control Panel you can view Users to see who they are and what level they are. If you don't have it set up to login various people the default user is the Administrator account.

Thanks for replying guys. I think I am the Admin then, so my next question is how I can disable the restriction that is preventing me from running the network setup disk from my floppy drive?

I tried running the network wizard for ME and it didnt work. I think if I can figure out how to enable this disk to run then it will work.

I'de appreciate any help you can lend me,
