Network Sharing

I have Win7. 64 Bit on my DeskTop PC and the Network Group is called WORKGROUP.
And yes I did go into the Folder I want to Share on my Network and Ad it and give it Read/Write for Anyone.

Then I went to my Win10 PC and Turned On Network And Sharing Discovery.

On my Win10 PC I Right Click Thi PC and Click Network Mapping.

And the next window opens and I Click Brows because I need to tell it whare I want it to look for the Folder I will be Sharing from my Win7. PC.

So it Displays a List and I pick the Name of my Win7. that has the Folder I want to have it look to for the Folder.

But a window opens and says You Do Not Have Access To This Folder.

What am I missing?

Both Computers are on the WORKGOUP Network.

The DeskTop Computer is called
ROBERTS-PC

the Win10 Computer is called
2INONETABLET

My Win10 Computer will be the one getting the Files Off of the Win7. Computer.
So am I Right I go to Start then This PC then Map Network on the Win10 Computer?

Ok I got everything working.

I can now use my Windows10 on my Network to Map Network Drive and Log In to my Win7. Desktop.

But one thing I am Shairing my Win7. Computers DeskTop Folder.
And yes it does show up and open.

But this is what I need help with?
I have a lot of Audio Files in a Folder I call Notes on my Win7. DeskTop Folder.

So I go to my Win10 and Right Click This PC and Click Map Network Drive.

And it works I can See every Folder on my Win7. DeskTp Folder.

So go to Open Notes Folder and it is a Blacnk White Icone.

Now I do have DeskTop Shairing Folder on my Win7. set to Shair with Everyone and only Read.

So I should be set to go.
Buy none of the Audio Files show up.

What did I miss?

What did you do to get the audio files to show?

 

After I Right Clicked the Folder I want to Share I Click Properties.

Then I Click the Sharing Tab.

Now the Path to the Folder I am going to Share shows on this Screen.
Right under it says Share and I Click it.

The next Screen has a Dropdown Box and I Click Everyone then I Click Ad Tab.

Now Everyone Show up in the List below and to the Right of this I Click Read Tab and put a Check in it so I will just give Read Rights to the other Computer.

And I think I Turned On Network Sharing or something like this on both Computers.

So when I go to my Win10 Computer and Right Click on This PC and then Click Map Network it does it.

But I do need help with one thing?

After I Right Click on a Folder I want to Share and on the next Screen I Click Sharing Tab.
This Screen I Click the Share Tab under the Folder Path I get this.

On this next Screen what if I do not want to Select Everyone from the Dropdown list.
I know I can just Type the Name in and I do

Then I Click Ad.
A Screen tells me it can not Find that User.

But if I Select Everyone then I am ok.

Instead of having Everyone on my WorkGroup be able to get to this Folder I just want to let my other Computer.
What am I missing?

 

Ok I wanted to let everybody know if I Right Click on a Folder and Click Properties then the Sharing Tab.

And on this Page I click Share I can use the Dropdown List and Pick Every One.

So anybody who is on my Network can get to this Folder.

But if I do not want to Pick Every One I can Type a Name in.
The Name will be the Name of the Computer I want to be able to get to this Folder.

So I Type in the name of my LapTop and it says it can not Find this Computer.

What am I doing Wrong?

Ok I can now Share a Folder on my DeskTop to my LapTop on the same Network.

So now I did one more thing>

I want to Share my USB Drive.

So I Right Click my USB Drive and Pick Properties then Click Share.

And on this screen it says Shared and shows the Path and all is ok.

Now when I go to my LapTop Running Win10. I Right Click This PC.
Then I Click Map Network Drive.

And just like when I Share a Folder I select my PC Path and Click OK.

And when I See the USB Drive I Click on it.
And it says I have no Rights.

So I go back to my USB Drive and Right Click it and Click Security.
And in this List I do not know what to Click?

But I did try to Click Edit.

And on the next screen I do not know what to Click?
