Network shortcut on file sharing client

I want to make a shortcut from inside one shared folder to a folder in another shared folder, but it keeps trying to go to a local folder on the other client. I made shortcuts on the other client ok, but when I move them to the sharing client, they become local shortcuts. When the other client opens the shortcuts, it tries to go to it's own local folder that doesn't exist instead of the one on the sharing client. Any ideas?

 

I put the network folder in FireFox favorites, then dragged to the folders I want the shortcuts in, and it works!
