I 'm being asked to enter my credit card details on a hotel website without the https prefix but it does contain a 'network solutions site safe' stamp which claims to encrypt the details.
    Is this safe?:confused

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Actually there is no way we can truthfully answer this for you. We don't know what website you are even referring to and even if we did it still does not mean we would know if the site is trustworthy or not. If it is a well know hotel and you are sure you are really connected to their site, it may be okay. Why not just make your reservations over the phone if you are worried?
